Sometimes you stumble upon situations so horrifically bad that you can't help but laugh. It's like your brain tries to make sense of the sheer level of destruction and just resigns itself to fate, opting for amusement as a coping strategy.

After all is said and done, you are left with a sense of utter perplexity. You wonder about the purpose of it all. Was this a joke?
Or were we just all part of a grand, cosmic prank?

Dreadful Day Ever
It all started with a case of bedhead hair. I couldn't figure it to look right. As I was dashing out the door, I fell and with a thud all over the carpet. To make matters worse, I was extremely running behind for work.

The rest of the day was an absolute nightmare. Everything. I stay awake.

It all started out horribly with a simple mishap/incident/screw-up. But then everything went from bad to absolutely terrible. A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to scream into a pillow.
